Windowslink & PC Utility Support

1. When Windows Link is open, MYFILE will automatically be defaulted to open.


2. Press to modify the settings. The Synchronize window will appear.
   
   All information such as inbox, outbox, addressbook & folders will be synchronized. Synch with PMU means that all information on the device will be copied to WinLink.


3. Power ON the and activate PC LINK
   a. On the Main Menu, select PC LINK
   b. Ensure that the baud rate is set to "38400" and select "START" from the "PC LINK" menu.


4. After changing the Synch Options & Change Port, press "Start".
   When the Rx light is hlighted information from the Composer is being sent to the WindowsLink program. Since, the process was set to "automatically synchronize all data", all information will processed and will synchronize with the program.


5. After information has been received and processed, the information will import the information automatically into WindowsLink.


6. After importing the information, synchronization will need to be activated again in order to export your new and updated information to the PocketMail Composer.


7. Power ON the Composer and activate PC LINK:
   a. On the Main Menu, select PC LINK
   b. Ensure that the baud rate is set to "38400" and select "START" from the "PC LINK" menu


8. Press "START" on the PC to begin.
   When TX is flashing, information from the PC is transferring to the Composer. Since, the process was set to synchronize all data, all new information in the WindowsLink program will be exported to the Composer device.


9. Once processing has reached 100%, press continue to close the Synchronization window and complete the process.


10. Synchronization is complete.
