PocketMail is a leading worldwide provider of value-priced mobile
e-mail services. Cavestowe Pty Ltd owner of PocketMail, Inc has
operations in Campbell, California, USA and Sydney, Australia.
Development of the company's core technology began in the United
States in 1995, with the goal of offering simple and affordable mobile
access to e-mail and information. PocketMail uses advanced space probe
communications technology originally developed at NASA's Jet
Propulsion Laboratory. The same technology that enables communication
with NASA's latest Mars rovers and deep space surveyors is at the core
of the PocketMail service that allows our customers to send and
receive e-mail from anywhere in the world. PocketMail hold several
patents for its technology.
The PocketMail® mobile e-mail service was launched in the USA in 1998
and is now available locally in the USA, Canada, Australia, New
Zealand, Bahamas and 13 countries in Western Europe including
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the
Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the U.K.
PocketMail is also available in every other country in the world via
international direct-dial access. PocketMail offers web access to
emails from any access point in the world.
Today, PocketMail has customers in over 75 countries and handles email
in 26 different languages.
