THE POCKETMAIL COMPOSER GIVES TRAVELERS AN
EASY AND AFFORDABLE WAY TO KEEP IN TOUCH

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - November 2, 2001 - Peter Selkowe is a retiree and world traveler. Last year he rode his Vespa motor scooter across Europe from London to Greece. Instead of looking for an Internet café or dragging a laptop with him, Selkowe used the PocketMail® Composer™ to communicate with his family and friends via e-mail.

Traditionally, travelers have had few choices for staying in touch easily and economically. Selkowe is one among a growing number who use PocketMail to overcome the challenges of communicating on the road.

The PocketMail Composer is both an "e-mail appliance" and a pocket-sized organizer that allows travelers to send and receive e-mail, anytime, anywhere, over virtually any telephone (domestic or international) without the need for a phone jack, cradle or cable.

"I can think of no better traveling companion than the PocketMail Composer," said Selkowe. "Pay phones are everywhere and the Composer is lightweight, durable, dependable, and inexpensive. Having it with me when I travel means that I can write and read e-mails anywhere, at any time."

In the U.S. and Canada, all a user does is dial an 800 number, hold the device against the telephone handset and push just one button. Access from an international location does require the user to pay for the call to the U.S. The average connection time is only 40 seconds, and on average, three messages can be downloaded in less than 30 seconds.

"E-mail has been a special problem for us on our mission trips. Telephone systems vary, as well as hookups. This amazing little unit "talks" to the PocketMail server back in the US with a series of beeps," said Reverend Jan Beaderstadt of the Renaissance Outreach Missionaries who travels regularly to countries like Nigeria and Bangladesh. "If I can find a telephone that can call out of the country, I can send and receive e-mail in any developing nation."

"The PocketMail Composer is an easy way to keep in touch while on the road," says Joe Katz, VP of marketing for PocketMail Inc. "PocketMail is a simple, low-cost, e-mail device that is completely portable and great for travelers."

PocketMail Service includes an e-mail address, unlimited e-mail, plus the option to send faxes at a small additional charge. The service can also be coordinated with most existing Internet e-mail accounts and corporate e-mail systems. Copies of e-mail sent to those accounts can be read on the PocketMail Composer and the Composer can reply using any return e-mail address.

The $99.00 PocketMail Composer and $14.95 monthly PocketMail Service are available in specially priced discount bundles with 3 months or 12 months of service. PocketMail products can be purchased at www.pocketmail.com or by calling 877-EMAILHERE (877.362.4543).
